I’m Back

I decided to take a little time off from blogging. That turned into 6 months. I am back.

Here is what has been happening in the last six months:

• I am now the student pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Calhoun, GA.
• We have seen 26 students give their life to Christ in the last 5 months on Wednesday Night!
• We developed a great band led by a good friend Justin Newman.
• We remolded a new student center and have outgrown it.
• I served as chaplain for Gordon Central High School.
• We had a tough year on the field but saw around 20 football players give their life to Christ in the locker-room!
• We started a new ministry on Sunday Night training students to be leaders and develop their personal ministry.
• Our students have been ministering all over Gordon County on several Sunday Nights!
• We have had some guys step up and start their own Bible Study on Thursday Night. They do the whole thing and I stay at home and watch The Office!
• God continues to remind me why I do what I do.
• I am amazed I get paid to do what I love to do. I have the greatest job in the world!

The last several months have been so much fun. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for 2008!
